The Ol Pejeta Conservancy is situated on the equator, west of Nanyuki between the foothills of the Aberdares and Mount Kenya.
Description
Pick up from your Nairobi Hotel/ Residence/ Airport after an early breakfast at around 0600hrs. Depart for the Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Lunch is at the lodge/ en route. Afternoon game viewing drives in Ol Pejeta Conservancy.
The Ol Pejeta Conservancy is situated on the equator, west of Nanyuki between the foothills of the Aberdares and Mount Kenya. The Conservancy boasts the largest Black Rhino sanctuary in East Africa and in 2013 reached a population milestone of 100 black rhino. It also houses the two remaining Northern White Rhino in the world. The Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary is situated here, and provides a haven for orphaned, abandoned and rescued chimpanzees. It is the only place in Kenya where these great apes can be seen. The Conservancy is host to the Big Five among a large selection of other African animals. Depart for Nairobi to arrive late in the evening at around 2000hrs. The trip ends with a drop off at your Nairobi Hotel / Residence/ Airport. We strongly recommend booking a flight departure of around Midnight to avoid worries of missing your flight. Meal Plan: Lunch and drinking water.
