Description

Day 1- Airport pick up-Nairobi hotel:

Pick up from the airport by our representative. Greet and familiarize. Transfer to Sentrim Boulevard for dinner and overnight. Meal Plan: BB.

Day 2 – Nairobi-Old Moses Camp:

You leave Nairobi at 8:30am; transfer to Sirimon Park Gate (2660m) the base of your Mt. Kenya trail. Here you meet with guides / porters and start your climb at 10am. After a 3-hour walk with lunch on the way, you will head to Old Moses Camp (3300m) on the edge of the mountainous forest where you will spend the night.
The Chogoria route is our recommended and arguably the most magnificent ascent route to the summit area. It is the driest route up the mountain and the walk beside the Gorges Valley truly spectacular. The descent by the Sirimon route takes one through some beautiful forest tracks and completes the traverse of the mountain.

Day 3 – Shiptons Camp:

You leave the camp at 8:30am and continue your hike through the moorland characterized by many varieties of senecia and lobelia to Shiptons Camp (4200m). Lunch will be taken on the way. The 14km-hike takes about 6 hours. Overnight will be at Shiptons Camp just below the 3 majestic peaks – Batian, Nelion and Lenana.

Day 4- Peak Lenana:

After an early morning breakfast at 4:00am, the trek leads via a steep scree to Simba Cole and on through rocky terrain to Point Lenana. After summit photos you will descend again to Simba Cole and continue to Mintos Hut (4200m). Here you have a lunch break, before passing along a ridge overlooking Gorge Valley and Lake Michaelson. In the late afternoon you will reach your destination for the day – a fly camp at the road head at 3300m.

Day 5 – Descent-Nairobi:

You descend to Meru Mt. Kenya Bandas at 3000m. On your short 2-hour hike you may encounter buffalo, klippspringer, zebra and sometimes elephant. At the bandas vehicles will be waiting to drive you through a dense bamboo forest on slippery roads to Chogoria. Here you will meet your driver, have lunch before biding the crew farewell and proceeding to Nairobi with a drop off at Sentrim Boulevard for your Dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Nairobi/Masai Mara National Reserve:

Pick up from Sentrim Boulevard at around 0800hrs start the safari with a drive to the view point of the great rift valley for photo session, descend the escarpment and drive via Narok then to Masai Mara for lunch at the campsite, followed by afternoon game drive in Masai Mara, famous for its black manned lions and yearly migration of wildebeests, dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge.

Day 7: Full day in Masai Mara National Reserve:

A full day spent game viewing a cross the rich, tree studded grassland and rolling hills. The famous Mara is renowned for its great herds of plain game, black-manned lions, leopard and cheetah but also contains numerous elephant andvirtually every type of wildlife to be found in Kenya. On this day there is an option of early morning Hot air Balloon safari (USD450 per person) then proceed with the normal program.
In the evening you will meet with a Masai Guide for a visit to their village. You will mingle with the Masai Warriors. You will be welcome to dance with them, admire their beadwork, learn their unique culture and if you want even spend a night in their Manyatta (House). Meals and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge.

Day 8: Masai Mara National Reserve/Nakuru:

Pre breakfast game drive, return to campsite for late breakfast and leave your camp for Lake Nakuru arriving in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight at Flamingo Hill Tented Camp.

Day 9: Lake Nakuru/Amboseli National Park:

After breakfast, proceed for an extensive morning game drive inLake Nakuru National Park to see the many animals that inhabit this unique park. Lake Nakuru is known for its millions of flamingoes and other water birds. Leave Lake Nakuru National Park and proceed to Amboseli National Park, with lunch en route. Dinner and overnight at Kibo Safari Camp.

Day 10: Full day in Amboseli National Park:

After breakfast, morning and evening game drives in Amboseli N.P. The mid-morning and afternoon is spent at own leisure. Meals and overnight at Kibo Safari Camp.

Day 11: Amboseli-Nairobi-Entebbe airport:

This morning we rise early for good views of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds build up over the summit. Amboseli is an excellent place to view a multitude of wildlife, including everything from Wildebeest to Giraffes to Baboons. Later drive back to the camp for breakfast then depart Amboseli by road with lunch en route to Nairobi, (airport) where you will head to Uganda for your flight to Entebbe. Arrive at Entebbe airport. Meet and greet with our Uganda Driver/ guide and proceed to your accommodation. Dinner and overnight at Forest Cottages (BB).

Day 12: Kampala- Jinja:

After breakfast, transfer to Jinja for half day white water rafting along the River Nile. Later drive to Entebbe Airport for overnight and dinner at Victoria View Guest house. Meal Plan: BB.

Day 13: Entebbe – Bwindi National Park:

After your breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Kihihi airstrip near Bwindi. Our representative will be there waiting for you.Pick up and proceed to your accommodation in Bwindi. In the afternoon, you will head for Batwa Experience, Learn about the lives of the indigenous Batwa on the Batwa Trail. Local guides take you through the hilly and scenic trail, where the Batwa people , who until recent lived without any modern influence demonstrate their traditional ways of life, including hunting, gathering honey, fire making and fetching water. Return to the Lodge after this eye opening experience. Dinner and overnight at Silverback Lodge or Buhoma Lodge. Meal Plan: FB.

Day 14: Bwindi National Park:

Gorilla tracking!!! Early morning departure with your ranger to search for one of the world’s most interesting and endangered animal, the Mountain Gorilla! You will spend one hour with one of our closest relatives. An experience you will never forget.

Day 15: Bwindi National Park – Entebbe-Kilimanjaro:

After your relaxed breakfast, transfer to Kihihi airstrip for your flight back to Entebbe. Later take your flight from Entebbe Airport to Tanzania via Kilimanjaro airport.
Pick up by our Tanzania Driver/ Guide at Kilimanjaro airport. Greet and familiarize.
Take a 1hr30minutes drive to Zawadi House for Dinner and overnight. Meal Plan: BB.

Day 16: ARUSHA-L/MANYARA:

Early breakfast then with your picnic lunch drive to L/Manyara National Park, famous for its green scenery, varied bird life, tree-climbing lions, hippos baboons and many more wild animals till late in the evening then drive to your Lodge. At the Great Rift Valley you will get nice view of Lake Manyara National Park. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Farm House. Meal Plan: FB (Breakfast, Lunch Box & Dinner).

Day 17: L/MANYARA-SERENGETI:

Early breakfast then with your picnic lunch drive to famous Serengeti national Park via Ngorongoro Conservation area, game drive en route. Having a chance to see all big five. Seronera area is a wild paradise; you will be able to see thousands of wild animals and also Immigration of wildebeest depending on the season. Afternoon game drives are included. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Tortilis Camp. Meal Plan: FB (Dinner, Breakfast, Lunch Box).

DAY 18: SERENGETI- NGORONGORO CRATER-LAKE:

After breakfast with your Picnic Lunch make a game drive briefly in famous Serengeti then to Ngorongoro Conservation area. Later descend to the crater floor: one of the wonders of the world. Game drive inside the crater till late in the evening having a chance to see all big five e.g. Lions, Elephants, Rhinos, Buffalos, Hippos and many other game animals. Later drive to your lodge for Dinner and overnight at Rhino Lodges. Meal Plan: FB (Breakfast, Lunch Box Dinner).

Day 19: NGORONGORO -ARUSHA-ZANZIBAR:

After breakfast with your Picnic lunch make a half day game drive. You will have time to take pictures. Transfer to the airport for your flight at 16:00pm to Zanzibar, then transfer from Zanzibar Airport to North Coast, Nungwi, at Langilangi Hotel. Meal Plan: BB.

Day 20-21: BEACH HOTEL:

Relax at leisure having a chance to participate in Sea Activities e.g. Diving, Snorkeling, Fishing, and many more. Dinner and overnight at Langilangi Hotel. Meal Plan: BB.

DAY 22: DEPARTURE: BEACH HOTEL-AIRPORT:

Departure to Airport back home (advice flight details).

Notes:

  • In the event government taxes and/or Wildlife Authority rates will increase the above mentioned total price shall be amended accordingly.
  • All activities and accommodations are subject to availability.
  • The gorilla tracking will be done in Buhoma. When there are no permits available for Buhoma but only on the Nkuringo side, there is an extra charge because of the flight.
