Description

The Kenya Government provides free primary education. An increase in enrolment to schools results in shortage of teachers and classrooms. The teacher to student ratio is shifting. With this kind of scenario it calls for more teachers in our schools. Locals and visitors can take up this opportunity to offer their expertise. This can be done in form of volunteering or internship. Such action would be sufficient to enable young rural Kenyans to break the vicious cycle of poverty which has a big effect in raising standards of living in the rural settings. Lack of cheap day secondary provision also has been a hindrance to further studies leaving many primary school drop-outs with their dreams shuttered. Effort to build cheap schools from well-wishers is much appreciated! Kenyan intermediary colleges and Universities accept foreign students. Exchange programs have proved to enhance relationships among students and universities worldwide. Visitors can also participate in volunteer programs in our universities and colleges.

The purpose of such packages is to expose foreign students, NGO staffs and any other interested parties to new ecological setups, cultures, research, survey and education as well as participate in the cradle of humanity. By being involved in these particular trips, participants will not only view the people and lifestyles of one of the most vibrant countries in Africa, they will also have the chance to view some of the most endangered ecosystems in the world and learn about measures taken by the authorities to contain this trend. These packages are a true blend of people and nature.
Educational or Study Programs are safaris or tours designed for students, researchers and professionals in fields of their interest. In Kenya, participants travel to a location as a group with the primary purpose of engaging in a learning experience directly related to the location.

Kenya has a number of accredited universities and colleges, research institutions and numerous private funded Non-Governmental Organizations that work with local and foreign institutions. We partner with various institutions and bring on board travelers who have interest in this kind of work.
Our student and school packages offer valuable learning experiences and lots of fun through various learning activities. It comprises of several sub learning types including ecotourism, heritage tourism, cultural tourism, agro tourism, and student/study exchanges between educational institutions. The main objective of this Eco safari is to expose students to the beauty of Africa – the adventure, the cultures, the diverse ecosystems and to give them an opportunity to be happy with only a few of the comforts of the normal western living.
