5 Days staff bonding at Mount Kenya Safari Club

DAY 1: Nairobi- Mt. Kenya Safari Club

Pick up from your Nairobi location. Passing through the industrial town of Thika and the intensely cultivated farms of central Kenya, take a 3hours drive to Mt. Kenya Safari Club.

Arrive early for familiarization of the grounds and conference hall. Get settled at your rooms. The rest of the day is spent at your leisure and depending on your team’s program. Lunch, Dinner and overnight at Mt. Kenya Safari Club.

DAY 2 &3: Conference

After breakfast, proceed with the days’ programs. The two days are for the conference.Meals and overnight at Mt. Kenya Safari Club.

Day 4 &5: Team Building

Meet and greet. The two days are spent participating in team building activities. Meals at Mt. Kenya Safari Club. Overnight at Mt. Kenya Safari Club.

Objectives and expectations for the team’s performance. Short team building activities and instructions. Exercises that develop group cohesion and foster a sense of accomplishment. Teams are formed and structured. Each team appoints an Inspector whose job it is to observe and analyze the team’s performance and attract the teams’ attention to possible improvements as well as the effectiveness of improvements.

Each team is introduced to the basics of line handling and how to the sails it will be responsible for Teams design their own mission, vision and strategies to accomplish the mission taking into account the various strengths of the team’s members. Teams hoist and set their sails several times analyzing after each attempt how well they have performed and how they can improve their performance through better team work. Emphases is placed on individual responsibility to the teams overall success and how it relates to a production / quality control environment. More complex team challenge Activities which encourage participants to stretch themselves beyond perceived limits.Teams then restructure themselves for the best performance at each task. We encourage the teams not to be static, but to automatically restructure themselves “on the fly” according to the tasks at hand and who is best suited for each task. Break for lunch. After lunch you come back for other different activities.

On day 5 after your team building activities bid farewell to Mt. Kenya Safari Club staff and later drive back to Nairobi marking the end of your 5 day event. Tea Break and Lunch included on the last day.
